I layed kind of low yesterday as I was just mentally and physically exhausted. I did manage to post one
post yesterday, but that’s because it was pre-written. (haha)
At the end of September, I decided I was going to attempt to write the maximum amount of posts for each of my two blogs here, which is a combined total of 86 posts! Goooooo Me!! To all the other bloggers who have reached the max before, kudos to you. It was no easy task!
When I make a goal, I’m the type who sticks with it and tries very hired to achieve it. I took a piece of paper and wrote the numbers one to eighty six in pink (my favorite color) then I crossed off numbers as I went and watch the number I needed to write shrink and shrink to zero! It felt like getting gold stars back in kindergarten! I told a few birthmom friends of my goal and they were very supportive, asking ever so often what number I was at and leaving comments on the posts I had written. Thanks girls!
So for the month of November I will be participating in the
NaBloPoMo challenge and posting one blog per a day. I just about do that anyways so that part won’t be a challenge. The challenging part will be as I attempt to participate in the
Thankful Series with Jenna and
Julie and between my two blogs (
crisis pregnancy and
open adoption) I will post different things I am thankful for (adoption and pregnancy related) through out the month, except I’m going to call mine “Operation Thankful” since I’m in
Operation Christmas Child mode from church and I have to have a tad of unique “Coley-ness” to it. I’ll begin that tomorrow so I’ll be two days behind the others but I need rest! I had already planned on tackling some things I was thankful for but this will be a more fun way to do it.
Also, in November and December I will begin to discuss the upcoming holidays as well as gift ideas for members of the triad. I’ve had a few requests along those lines, so I will tackle those as well.
So it’s going to be an exciting two months here in blog land! Stick around; you won’t want to miss it.
PS. Jenna, you are such a trend setter!
