I just wanted to take a minute to let all of you, my dear readers, know that I am thankful for you. Without your support, comments, emails, thoughts, and dedication and thirst for adoption related information, I wouldn’t be blogging.
Some of you may be facing difficult and stressing times and experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, while others may be birthmothers or adoptive mothers or even adoption professionals or friends to someone who is an unplanned pregnancy or is personally connected to adoption. Whatever the reason that brings you here, I am glad and thankful that you are here. (Not for the reason that brought you here, though, not to confusion anyone.)
My wish for your today is that you are able to spend some time with friends and family and for a brief moment or two forget about your problems and find a few things to be thankful for!
Happy Thanksgiving! Don’t eat too much turkey!
I leave you with a Thanksgiving Prayer…….
Thanksgiving Prayer
By Susan D. Anderson
I’m thankful for my mother, and
I’m thankful for my dad.
I’m thankful for my sisters, and
for all the fun we’ve had.
And I’m thankful for my brother
(even when he’s jerky.)
But most of all, I’m oh-so-thankful
not to be a turkey.
