Was there some REASON Esther did not want Bryce to father her child? Was he violent or live a lifestyle that would have been harmful for an infant? Did he abuse drugs? I want to reserve judgement of her decision until I know her side of the story. If any of my above possibilities are the case, Esther had every right to place her child IMO. The law seems a little silly because basically anytime a guy sleeps with a woman, he needs to go file that little piece of paper because there is always a possibility (even with protection) that a baby could have been conceived.
