Are you anxiously anticipating the birth of your baby?
For any expectant mother, I think there is tons of anticipation involved in pregnancy and the impending labor and delivery. Some is good anticipation and some is jittery, nervous anticipation. And with Charlie’s birth there was also a sense of dreaded anticipation because I knew he and I would be separated soon after his birth. I think if I could have been pregnant forever I would have just to have had more time with him.
If you read this blog much you know that I love to look up and use definitions. I love the
Webster’s definition for anticipation minus number two which discusses money.

I think every expectant mother wonders what labor and delivery will be like, how much pain will be involved, what her baby will look and be like, what her hospital experience will be like, etc... Of course, first time mothers have no clue what child birth will be like since they have never experienced it before, but there was lots of anticipation for me as a second time mother too. I don’t think any two labor and deliveries are alike and you still don’t know what to expect.
So if you are anxiously anticipating the birth of your child, you are not alone! I think we (all mothers) have been there!
