I haven't read this book, but will probably read both of her books. I'm a 45-year old adoptee who has searched and been united with bio mom's family. Still looking for father. Here's what adoptees feel about adoption, whether we had a better life (which I did) or not: decisions were made FOR us and ABOUT us but not BY us. We want to be able to access records when or if we choose. And, I wholeheartedly agree that adoption is a money making business! It's legalized baby selling. I also advocate permanent guardianship.
